Review:
If you’ve not heard of or are following Claire Linney in the online bookish space, then you’re seriously missing out. Not only is she an author, but is a great content creator with recommendations for all ages.
Time Tub travellers is her time travelling series that features real Black historical figures and it’s a series I never want to end.
Zula, Milo and Aunt Abina are brilliant characters and it’s such a joy to follow them. I love the pacy plots, the twists and I love learning something in each book.
I think Roman Rescue is my favourite if you made me choose, but I think that’s because we get more of Aunt Abina who is a legend in her own right. I aspire to be here (minus the time travelling because we know my anxiety would ruin me). But really each book is so memorable and Claire’s passion shines through each time.
You’d be doing yourself a favour and picking up this series – not only are you going to love the adventures of Zula and Milo, but you’ll learn of some important Black history too.
You can get all of Claire’s books from her website here and you’d be supporting an indie author too which is amazing.
