So let’s focus on the book club, what can you expect?
Our book club is a chilled out, no cameras discussion, once a month over on discord. We’re not a regular book club, we’re a cool book club. We read on storygraph too, so we can drop all our thoughts in without the spoilers.
Each month the book will be a different genre and here’s our first three picks:
Havisham – Elle Machray. This is Miss Havisham as you’ve never seen her before, she’s been left at the alter but she’s out for revenge. This is easily one of my favourite reads this! Find it on bookshop.org here and on Libro.fm here.
The Heirs – Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé. The Heirs isa YA murder mystery thriller that had me on the edge of my seat! Five genius child prodigies are set to inherit a fortune after years of being trained in a social experiment. Find it on bookshop.org here.
Uprising – Tahmima Anam. Uprising is a beautiful literary read about feminine rage and revolution, centring an island of stolen women. Beautifully told and a great short read at less than 200 pages. Find it on bookshop.org here and on Libro.fm here.
