LGBTQIA+ history month may have been and gone but as we know, we can read diversely all year round. Here are some of my favourite reads with queer representation over the past few years with no spoilers.

Non-Fiction is such a broad genre and we’ve got quite the range here! We learn so much from fiction when we see ourselves in stories, but non-fiction can have just as much impact with the author speaking directly to us.

Literary is one of those genres that can really make you feel. You can be following a story similar to yours or one that couldn’t be more different, but you’ll follow those characters and laugh and cry with them.

2023 may already feel like an age away but I want to look back on what I loved last year and share my favourites with you. Fantasy and magical realism were genres I really leaned back into last year. I love the escapism, I love the journeys made and the worlds they sit in.
