Review:

If I was to sum up Black Dolls I would say it’s the YA version of Chinchilla’s Little Girl Gone and the TV show We Are Lady Parts and I can’t wait for more!

It’s battle of the bands and there’s everything to play for. Black Dolls are an all Black, all women pop-punk band, made up of quite the mix that don’t always see eye to eye, but can they band together to make it through the competition and get to where they each want to be?

What I love about this is that each of our girls has a thorough back story and I’m excited to find out more as the series develops. They’re not categorised and or pushed into moulds like you might imagine some girl bands, and it’s lovely to see their personalities come out.

The story was fast paced and it was a lot of fun and I definitely will be picking the next.
