November New Releases

Autumn is well and truly here and it’s time to find something great to curl up with. Get the kettle on, the blankets prepped and snuggle up with a new book. Sounds perfect, right?

Soon Come – Kuba Shand-Baptiste. Literary. Hardback. Set within the Windrush generation as they establish home in new lands. Publish date: 20/11.

Eternal Ruin – Tigrest Girma. Fantasy. Hardback. Sequel to Immortal Dark. War looms and secrets can’t stay safe forever. I need to pick up the first! Publish date: 02/11

The Shapeshifter’s Daughter – Sally Magnusson. Fantasy. Hardback. A feminist retelling of Hel of Norse mythology, Goddess of the Underworld. This sounds interesting! Publish date: 06/11.

Hagtale – Sally O’Reilly. Literary. Hardback. A Macbeth retelling that looks at Lady Macbeth if she’d been raised by the witches. Publish date: 06/11.

Brigands & Breadknives – Travis Baldree. Fantasy. Set in the same world as his other books, this one follows bookseller Fern. Publish date: 13/11.

A Midnight Pastry Shop Called Hwawoldang – Lee Onhwa, Slin Yung. Fantasy. Hardback. When taking over a pastry store from her grandmother, Yeon-hwa didn’t expect her patrons to be not quite alive. Publish date: 13/11.

Carnaval Fever – Yuliana Ortiz Ruano. Literary. Hardback. A coming of age story set in 1990’s Ecuador. Think girlhood’s fragility, political turbulence and collective joy. Publish date: 11/11.
