One sentence review: I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of Kez and her cases, this is another brilliant one.

Review:

After her father was put into witness protection and entirely shielded away, Robyn had been determined to find him and she’s going through everyone associated with that horrific night. Every body she leaves has a note and she knows she’s getting closer to him. 

I loved it. I loved it and I need more Kez in my life. 

Like Every Smile You Fake I was hooked early on. Robyn is so brilliantly written, she’s such a clever character with a plan and I love how much Kez sees her. 

I love how much Koomson’s women in the book are loved and shown love. Honestly it just makes it for me. There’s a lot of horrifying characters around so to have not everything be traumatic is wonderful. You know I love a good romance and Kez absolutely gets her fair share and I love that for her. Give me a smutty scene to distract me from the horrors anyday! 

Where were we? I raced through it like ESYF and I can’t wait for more Kez, she might be one of my favourite literary characters. 

Consider me converted to thrillers when they’re written like this.
