Favourite Audiobooks

This year I’ve made it my mission to use audiobooks more when I’m on the move. I love the versatility they can bring and make long journeys feel much shorter.

If you’re looking for a great way to consume audiobooks that aren’t through Amazon then you’ll need to check out libro.fm. Similar to bookshop.org, but only for audiobooks, they are a great audible alternative and donate a portion of your subscription to the independent bookshop you sign up with.

My top picks for this year have been:

Non-Fiction:

  • The Vagina Business – Mariner Gerner

Literary:

  • Here Again Now – Okechukwu Nzelu
  • Fundamentally – Nussaibah Younis
  • Sweetness in the Skin – Ishi Robinson

Magical Realism:

  • Water Moon – Samantha Sotto Yambao
  • Black Water Sister – Zen Cho

Historical:

  • Brotherless Night – V. V. Ganeshananthan

Fantasy:

  • The Cemetry Boys – Aiden Thomas

You can find all these and so much more on libro.fm, by tapping in through this link you’re also supporting my work which is awesome!

What have been your favourite audiobooks so far this year?

If you like what you’ve read and would like to access more content, I’d love if you could take a look at my patreon and consider supporting my content on there too. You can also find more content on my Instagram here.

And don’t forget to check out my other blogs and reviews – you can find books with similar themes in the same folder link below, or click back onto blogs to see the whole offering.
