One sentence review: Dinan is one of the literary legends of our age, don’t miss out on this.

Review:

As probably expected if you’re a fan of Dinan’s debut, this book but did very little disappointing, in fact it really was the opposite of disappointing and was entirely brilliant.

Dinan has such a way of writing that entirely absolves you into the story. You start reading and the world around you dissolves until you’re there in the book’s world.

The characters are once again fascinating. It’s often easy to categorise characters of any genre into good, bad, morally grey, but yet again Dinan has created very real people that blur lines and make us question their true identities and motives and I think it’s genius.

Don’t make me choose between this and Bellies because they’re both brilliant. Both are up there as true literary classics for me.
