Nine women and nine different lives led.
This is a beautifully deep collection of short stories, spanning the lives of nine woman with different upbringings, different trajectories and they are equally brilliant.
Criticisers of short stories always complain they can’t get into them but readers need not worry here, Fetto’s writing brings you straight into each story. I felt like I was there with these women and I always think that’s commendable of a short story writer. It’s such a talent and I’m in awe of it. I was involved from the get go and I loved them.
Some short stories you read and think huh, yeah that was a good short story and leave it as that, but Fetto’s hooked into me and I was left feeling both satisfied at brilliant story telling and writing, but I had an undeniable feeling that I could read a whole book on any of those nine women.
Fetto’s writing left me wanting more in such a positive way and I can’t wait for you to read and to see what comes next from her.
