Review:
Harriet and Ben have known each other since they were young. They’ve been there for one another through grief, through heartbreak and everything else life has thrown at them and it’s been a lot. It’s what friends do.
But when Ben starts to question his life trajectory and moves away from their joint plans, Harriet’s world falls apart. She’s in love with him, but why can’t he see it?
All the Truths Between Us is a beautiful story of friendship, grief and faith and is truly moving. Readers certainly need to be prepared for waterworks. It’s a brilliant literary fiction with romance intertwined that doesn’t detract from the rawness of the story.
I found myself totally absorbed in this, Amos went deep when writing these characters and they’re going to stay with you. The dual POV was perfect for telling Ben and Harriet’s story and I think it was crafted beautifully.
Liz reached out to me to ask if I’d read her book and help spread the word and I’m so glad I agreed. I’ve since bought this book for friends too, some of them don’t know yet but they’re getting a copy for Christmas this year!
Since this one is published independently, All the Truths Between Us isn’t available on Bookshop.org, but you can order directly from your independent bookshop. Check out the FAQ at the bottom of Liz’s page here.
