Do you hate starting a book only to realise that it’s part of a series of books that hasn’t been finished yet? I’ve got you covered in this blog post. Other than where stated, I’ve really enjoyed these interconnected standalones and would definitely recommend to any romance lover. Read through and let me know which you’ve enjoyed.
Dating Dr Dil – Nisha Sharma. If Shakespeare was an Auntie trilogy. Three friends and three books, one for each headstrong woman leading the charge. I adored the women so much in these. The third is on my shelf to read as I type this out and so far the second is my favourite.
Lovelight Farms – B. K. Borisson. Lovelight Farms series. A book per season, set in a small town, where romance is destined for our main characters. Be prepared for ultimate cosiness, a baker that will steal your heart and a grumpy farmer that can’t help but adopt animals in need. I want to squeeze them all.
The Kiss Quotient – Helen Hoang. I have to say, the first one was my favourite in this trilogy but I still really enjoyed the others. The first is a reverse pretty woman tale and all three include austic rep.
Get a Life, Chloe Brown – Talia Hibbert. The Brown Sisters trilogy. What to say about these women? I adore them. Chloe is a grump, Dani I love more than life and Eve is a ray of sunshine. All hail Queen Talia. Dani and Zaf are the ultimate book couple.
The Marriage Game – Sara Desai. Three friends, three books with lovely family themes and great food recs. Yum.
Twisted Love – Ana Huang. The Twisted series. Four friends, with four men that aren’t friends.. each with different tropes, these books have drama and spice! You can see my review of them all here. The MC’s (male and female) also feature in Huang’s next interconnected series too – Kings of Sin.
And here’s two more that I haven’t read that but I’ve eager to get started on:
- Dial A for Aunties – Jesse Sutanto
- Pride, Prejudice and Other Flavours – Sonali Dev
Romance is easily one of my favourite genres and I’m so excited to keep adding to this list. Have you loved any of the above too? Let me know in the comments below!
You can find all these recs and more great romance reads in my Bookshop.org store here.
