Festive Romance Recommendations

If you’re looking for a novel to get you in the festive spirit, then do I have the list for you. I’m the kind of person that can read these all year round but if you only want to read them in the colder months, then that’s fine! Make sure you have this page bookmarked and the books on your TBR so you’re ready for them!

In no particular order:

Merry Inkmas – Talia Hibbert. All of your favourite Talia Hibbert sparkle, wrapped up in a Christmassy atmosphere. In this novella we find ourselves in a tattoo shop with a brilliant pairing of grumpy/sunshine plus he falls first. Make sure you check the trigger warnings.

A Merry Little Meet Cute – Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone. Set around a Christmas film set, this one boasts positive sex work rep and lots of spice. Successful onlyfans sex worker Bee acts alongside INK boyband member Nolan who has been a huge fan of her for years.

A Holly Jolly Diwali – Sonya Lalli. Data analysis meets musician. The highly strung Niki (was this written for me?) meets Sam during Diwali celebrations and ends up joining her best friend and husband on their honeymoon. Heart warming tale.

Lovelight Farms – B. K. Borison. Is there anything cuter than a Christmas romance set on a Christmas Tree farm? I think not. We’ve got friends to lovers and fake dating, one of my favourite trope combos!

Wreck the Halls – Tessa Bailey. Queen of Romance returns with a festive romp. Meoldy and Beat (yes you read that correctly) are trying to get their Mum’s band back together for one last hit. Only issue is the huge feud that led to the split. Sparks fly again as teenage crushes come back with a bang.

Royal Holiday – Jasmine Guillory. Another legend of romance brings us a new romance this year. It’s a US vs. UK romance, this time the mother of a stylist that hops along on her daughters trip finds more than just a kiss under the mistletoe with the secretary of state.
